Kara Boynewicz PT, DPT, PhD, ATC is a board certified pediatric physical therapy specialist with over 23 years of clinical experience with infants and children in the NICU, hospital, early intervention and outpatient settings. She was awarded her PCS certification in 2007 and re-certified in 2015. She received her B.S. in zoology and athletic training from Eastern Illinois University. She earned her master's & transitional DPT in physical therapy from Governors State University and her PhD at East Tennessee State University in Early Childhood Education. She is currently an associate professor in physical therapy at East Tennessee State University (ETSU).
