Alyssa LaForme Fiss is Professor and Physical Therapy Research Coordinator at Texas Woman’s University- Dallas and an associate member for the CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research. She was a regional coordinator on the Move & PLAY study and co-investigator on the On Track study. Her research interests include determinants of outcomes and service delivery models including group interventions for children with disabilities, as well as supporting adaptive behavior of young children. She is President of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta based non-profit, FOCUS, which provides support and recreational programming for children with disabilities.
