Denise Begnoche, PT, DPT, PhD, private practitioner, attained pediatric physical therapy expertise through more than 40 years of practice experience with infants and children in outpatient, school, home, and natural environments. Areas of interest include neuroplasticity, early acquisition of postural and motor control, and indicators of readiness for independent walking in infants at risk for and children with movement disorders. Dr. Begnoche has developed education courses for DPT students and physical therapists, participated as a Pediatric Faculty Institute co-presenter in 2018, 2019, and 2022, and serves as a manuscript and abstract reviewer and APTA Clinical Practice Guideline committee member.
