Margaret E. (Maggie) O’Neil, PT, PhD, MPH – is a pediatric physical therapist and researcher. Her research examines physical activity measures and creating custom virtual reality (VR) to promote mobility, and physical activity in youth with cerebral palsy (CP). Maggie is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. She conducts funded research and has published widely. She is an active member of the APTA, Academy of Pediatrics and the IOPTP Research Committee. She is a manuscript reviewer for multiple journals and a grant reviewer for federal and professional organizations.
