Dr. Smart is a physical therapist at Memorial Hermann, Memorial City in Houston, Texas where she treats in the neonatal intensive care unit. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance Performance at Marymount University in New York City and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Texas State University. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Special Interest Group within the Pediatric Academy.
