Ashley Parish, PT, DPT, CRT, CCS is an Assistant Professor at UAB. She obtained a Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy and DPT from UAB and is currently in candidacy for her PhD. Her passion is intensive care unit-based services for the cardiovascular and pulmonary pediatric population. She practices clinically in a hospital and transitional clinic for young adults with complex needs. She has served in leadership roles for multiple APTA components and is the recipient of the 2021 and 2022 APTA Emerging Leader Award, 2022 Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy Emerging Leader Award, and 2022 ACAPT Emerging Educator Award.
