Cristina Sarmiento, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and UCHealth. Her clinical and research interests focus on the transition from pediatric to adult healthcare for adults with childhood onset disabilities, particularly cerebral palsy, and on improving health, healthcare, and quality of life for adults with childhood onset disabilities. She is a member of the Cerebral Research Network Adult Work Group.
