Dana McCarty is an Assistant Professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill and a board certiLed pediatric clinical specialist. She has residency training and clinical experience in various areas of pediatrics, with subspecialty expertise in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Dana has received funding for her research from the NIH and Foundation from Physical Therapy Research. She is currently a PhD candidate at the UNC School of Public Health and directs UNC’s Pediatric PT Residency Program and Neonatal Fellowship. Dana has served APTA Pediatrics in various roles including NC State Representative, NC Peds SIG Vice-Chair, and, Nominating Committee Member.
