Happy 50th anniversary PTPAC! In 1973, APTA started on a journey to implement the first political action committee of the American Physical Therapy Association. Now 50 years later, the PTPAC has distributed more than $17 million through direct contributions to political candidates who support APTA’s public policy priorities, making it one of the top 10 largest health care provider political action committees in the country.
