Dr. Julia Looper is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound. She is responsible for courses in pediatrics and critical inquiry. Dr. Looper's research focuses on the development of walking and physical therapy interventions for children with Down syndrome. She frequently presents at conferences and has published in Journal of Motor Behavior, Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, and Physical Therapy. Dr. Looper is an active member of the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapists and is a member of the APPT Movement System Task Force.
