Dr. Marisa Birkmeier is the program director for the DPT Program at the George Washington University (GW). She earned her MPT and tDPT from Saint Louis University and her DHSc from GW. She became a board-certified pediatric physical therapy clinical specialist in 2009 and practices at Children’s National Health System. She is a Level 1 and 2 APTA Credentialed Clinical Trainer and active participant in national clinical education initiatives. She participates in the scholarship of teaching and learning and has presented nationally on topics pertaining to pediatric educational strategies within the classroom and clinic.
