Rachel Burch PT, DPT completed a pediatric residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022. During her residency, Rachel focused her Leadership Project on educating healthcare providers on Trauma Informed Care and implementing during treatment. Additionally, she served as the Training and Education Subcommittee Chair for the Children’s of Richmond Trauma Informed Leadership Team. In this role, Rachel promoted and launched an interdisciplinary, interactive online module about Trauma Informed Care. Rachel now works in the acute care setting at Stanford Children’s Health and is a member of the Trauma Informed Care Community of Practice through the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy.
