Amanda Clifton, PT, DPT, CCS, PCS

Dr. Clifton is a graduate of the University of Miami-Nicklaus Children's Hospital Pediatric Residency Program. She is Board-Certified in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary and Pediatric Physical Therapy with a research background in the pediatric cardiopulmonary population. She has published and presented her residency Capstone project on sternal precautions in infants. She is part of a developmental care team at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and clinical lead the PICU early mobility initiative. Dr. Clifton serves as the chair of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary SIG within the Pediatric Academy and awarded Emerging Leader by the APTA Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary in 2023.
