Dr. Courtney is a Dean’s Fellow in Clinical Pediatrics and Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Physical Therapy at Ohio University (OHIO). She is a board-certified clinical specialist in pediatric physical therapy and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Dr. Courtney has taught primarily in the pediatric and professional development curriculum at OHIO for 17 years. She provides early intervention and pediatric outpatient services in the surrounding communities. Dr. Courtney serves the APTA Academy of Pediatrics on the PCS Prep Committee. She received her entry-level bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from OHIO (1994) and her Doctor of Philosophy from OHIO (2016).
