Dr. Mirav Newman, PT, DPT, earned her undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University in Physical Therapy in 1993 and her doctoral degree, from Rocky Mountain University, in 2012. Before moving to New York, she began her work in pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic in 1999. Dr. Newman opened Dynamic Solutions Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapy in Brooklyn, New York, in 2002. Today her practice has two locations. Dr. Newman and Judy Carmick began teaching Task Specific Electric Stimulation (TASES) in recent years. Today, Mirav treats children in Brooklyn, manages her private practices, and teaches electric stimulation continuing education classes worldwide.
