Dr. Aguirre Valenzuela received her DPT from Rutgers in 2020. In 2020, she received the APTA Minority Scholarship and was selected to serve as an APTA Board-sponsored Centennial Scholar. In 2022, she began her term in the PPAC and CSM Steering Group. Within APTA Pediatrics, she is in the Nominating Committee. In NJ, she is a Delegate and a Key Contact. She currently works in the EI and school settings. Outside of the clinic setting, she uses social media to educate PTs/PTAs/students on how to advocate for their profession and encourage them to run for office.
