This presentation is a lifespan approach to management of osteogenesis imperfecta for health professionals. Emphasis on current strategies for data collection related to international OI care collaboration.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to advise families concerning functional mobility potential for children with OI based on clinical presentation and early mobility strategies.
  • Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to describe some of the key surgical interventions used for management of OI.
  • Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to implement clinical outcome measures and treatment strategies to enhance fitness and function for those who have OI.
